About
Chef Dave has worked in Toledo area restaurants for over 25 years, earning a culinary degree from Owens Community College in 2012. While working in a high-volume casual restaurant in Toledo, his breaktime meal almost always consisted of a gyro or sandwich on naan. During this handful of years, the idea that would become Naan Stop Kebap was born.
While planning the business, Dave was urged by his former employer and friend to research döner kebab. After several road trips and dozens of hours of research the decision was made to narrow the menu to focus almost exclusively on döner.
Now in it’s third season, Naan Stop Kebap has served thousands of Ohioans their first ever döner kebab experience. While the meat is authentic, the presentation is fresh and doesn’t adhere to any one tradition. Indian, Korean, Arabian, German and American influence can be found along with that of Türkiye, making Naan Stop Kebap is truly something all its own.
Oh, and, best fries anywhere! Don’t forget the curry ketchup!!
